If you really cannot afford a $400 retainer

If you really cannot afford a $400 retainer (Diablo 3 Gold), you're a likely candidate for Legal Aid (which may be called by some other name where you live). Legal Aid provides licensed attorneys at a lowered fee for lower income clients. Most charge fees on a "sliding scale," based upon your income. Depending on your situation, it might even be free (at least where I live).

Check your Yellow Pages. If you don't find anything under "Legal Aid" in the "Attorneys" section, call your county's bar association, and they'll give you the contact information you need.

As long as you have not signed a personal guaranty for mom's care, the fact that you have power of attorney for her does not make you liable for her expenses.

If your mom is not able to care for herself, and a facility where she has been admitted (hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility, etc.) puts her out at the curb in her wheelchair, that is not only a crime, but in most places a felony, that is, somebody is going to jail. If your mom is able to care for herself (Diablo iii Gold), but won't, that's another matter, but that does not seem to be the case here.

Check with the Veterans Administration, too. I am aware that it provides some benefits for spouses, in some cases, but I don't deal in that area of law, and have no clue whether your mom might be entitled to care or benefits from the VA. It's a free call to find out --- hopefully you have the time to be on "hold" for the better part of a morning or afternoon!
