Sorry for the delay, I wanted to think ofways to explain without sounding like spam.

I wanted to use barter for another website I own (Diablo iii Gold), but couldn't find a service that was 1) Local, 2) Not shady, 3) Secure, 4) Cash-free, 5) and that gave me COMPLETE control over my trading.

So I designed a system based on gift certificates (Every state protects gift certificate users and they work better than scrip), where "credits" are backed with assets (Like gold backing a dollar) and, overall acts like a blend of a credit union, a factoring service, a consignment service and a marketing company.

Operating costs come from a commission (Charged in gift crtificates), with cash coming from marketing said certificates to the public at discount through an online store.

Since the system can be adapted to help nonprofits convert inkind donations into more useful items or services, in November and December, I will assemble a core of local nonprofits with free memberships and special bonuses to any businesses they "like" (My initial recruitment list for January)

Any additional info seems like it would be "spammish", but the numbers work very well (Diablo iii Gold), and the people who have seen the package want to join, or clone it for their geographic areas.
